The answer is YES
But so far not all work in the Procurement Management Unit have undergone the training on PMIS, even some of them who undergone on previous training conducted by PPRA have changed the Institution/PE and new employees are employed. In this few cases its time to PPRA to conduct another training on PMIS

Are you a public Procuring entity?

Is your office connected to Internet Services?

Do you work in the Procurement Management Unit (PMU)?

Do you have basic IT skills for Internet browsing ?

Are you conversant with the Systems for Checking and Monitoring developed by PPRA?

If your answer to the above questions is YES, then PMIS is for you. Please request your User name and Password and start using the system now!. It is a web-based system, simple to use and can save your time, papers and money. Why send your Annual Procurement Plan (APP) and monthly reports using snail mail – The easier and simpler way is just few clicks away. Get connected to your Internet and type http://pmis.ppra.go.tz or go to www.ppra.go.tz and click the link to PMIS.

What you have to do…

· If you have a User name and Password, then sign in and start using the system

· If you do not have a User name and Password, then sign up by completing a User name and Password request form. Alternatively, call PPRA at +255 22 2121236 and speak to IT Officers.

Lets us comply with the Public Procurement Act 21 of 2004. In this way, the Government will achieve Value for Money in Public Procurement.
